Dettagli e novita di iOS 11 per iPhone ed iPad a 64 bit

Ecco tutte le feature della nuova versione di iOS e l’elenco completo dei device compatibili con l’aggiornamento.

Molte le novità presenti in iOS 11. Spiccano subito la schermata di blocco e centro di controllo completamente ridisegnati, la registrazione dello schermo, il File Manager molto più completo e l’applicazione Messaggi resa ancora più divertente.

Per effettuare l’aggiornamento basterà entrare in Impostazioni-> Generali-> Aggiornamento software.
Prima di procedere, è sempre bene accertarsi di avere carica sufficiente nella batteria, una buona copertura Wi-Fi e fare un backup dei dati.
Se preferite è possibile affidare il download e l’installazione ad iTunes, approfittandone così per effettuare un backup in locale del dispositivo.

Ribadisco che le funzioni sopra elencate sono solo quelle descritte nel changelog ufficiale Apple, mancano quindi alcune aggiunte ritenute di poco conto.
Ad esempio non viene citato che iOS 11 porta su iPhone 7, iPhone 8 and iPhone X il supporto al formato FLAC (Free Lossless Audio Codec), il codec audio libero con compressione dati lossless cioè senza alcuna perdita di qualità.

Purtroppo questa nuova versione di iOS non estende il proprio supporto a tutti i dispositivi dotati di processore a 32 bit tra cui iPhone 5, iPhone 5C, iPad 4, iPad mini.
Il sistema infatti supporta solo applicazioni a 64 bit.
